Working at Height Safety Fundamentals is a comprehensive professional safety training program designed to provide workers, supervisors, engineers, HSE professionals, and contractors with the knowledge required to identify, assess, and control hazards associated with elevated work activities.
The course covers planning, risk assessment, permit-to-work systems, access equipment selection, scaffolds, ladders, mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), roof work, fragile surfaces, fall protection systems, rescue planning, emergency response, and incident prevention.
Participants will learn how to apply the hierarchy of controls, select suitable access methods, inspect equipment, prevent falls, control dropped objects, and contribute to safer workplaces in construction, industrial, maintenance, logistics, warehousing, and oil and gas environments.
This course provides awareness-level and operational safety training for work-at-height activities. It does not replace local legal requirements, specialized certification programs, site-specific procedures, manufacturer instructions, or competency assessments. Learners must always follow workplace regulations and permit-to-work requirements before performing elevated work.
